“Integrity of Spirit”: What is it?

Is it to know that you could have wronged when no one else save yourself would have known, and then to feel that burden of truth, the guilt at the thought of committing a wrong as if you actually had? To know that you were capable, that you considered, yet pulled away. Is that pull, that leash, a mark of a coward, or your willpower, guilt, strength, faith, fear? Is “integrity of spirit” answering that question honestly to yourself no matter what the answer?
