“No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.”
- John Donne (1572–1631)

"O wave! Plunge headlong into the dark seas,
And change thyself with many a twist and turn;
Thou wast not born for tile solace of the shore;
Arise, untamed, and find a path for thyself."
- Allama Muhammad Iqbal
Donne was right on the mark with that one.
Yes, here is the perfect definition of the connection of humanity and of brotherhood.
Peace be upon you,
It was good to read more than the oft-quoted first phrase. Yes, a lovely definition of humanity- another perhaps is that we are essentially all the Tribe (or Family) or Adam thus are related to each other. I think they both convey the same message.

Don’t be sad - Ah, yes one could definitely think of it in that manner. A beautiful unity of mankind in its divine nature. Thank you very much for suggested it.
Peace be upon you again Raatkiranii (K.F.S<–may I ask what does stands for?)
Good of you to respond to my comment, you are most welcome.
I just wanted to let you know a side not of visiting your neighbour(s)– please do try as without your participation we cannot build our community.
Kind regards,
Dont be sad
Don’t be sad - the K.F.S after RaatKiRanii stands for my initials. It is there because though RaatKiRanii is descriptive of an aspect of my personality, K.F.S, my name, is who I am.
As to the link, I thank you for pointing it out.
