give me light
if it be darkness illuminated
give me then darkness
if darkness be thy sight
give me thy vision
if a vision be that of beauty
give me then the world in glory
if glory be a tune of stillness
give me then the raising of the early dawn
and if there be nothing for you to give me
give me then the peace of nothing

"O wave! Plunge headlong into the dark seas,
And change thyself with many a twist and turn;
Thou wast not born for tile solace of the shore;
Arise, untamed, and find a path for thyself."
- Allama Muhammad Iqbal
Peace be upon you Raat-ki-raanii,
Your new theme, header and general atmosphere of the blog are breathtaking- really. The last theme was very calm, but in comparison to this not very uplifting. I will try to take a few lessons from your work.
Secondly, curious poem and well chosen illustration- you’ve an eye for that and you did it consistently.
Kind regards.
Don’t Be Sad,
Thank you, though I’m still getting used it I like it too.
You’re right the change is definitely more lively.
As for the poem and photograph, I love attaching a little piece of illustration to my written work. I suppose it’s my attempt at trying to show visually what i saw or felt while writing a particular piece. A little practice and I’ve finally getting the hang of displaying my vision with the help some great Flickr photographers and their wonderful work.
Thank you, again.
