This is very profound. I think most people, whether they are religious or not, conceive of prayer as essentially “asking for stuff”. But in my experience the highest form of prayer, regardless of tradition, has nothing to with petitions, but with acceptance…this quote seems to suggest much the same thing.

Baekho – Very well put, and i believe that is exactly what the above words mean.
Asking is not the only sort of prayer, there is love, gratefulness, and there is acceptance.
